GOLD SPA IN A CITY CENTER
The design concept refers to an urban spa environment that offers spiritual and physical stimuli to Athens city dwellers or the travelers that choose to stay in the luxury hotel accommodations around Syntagma square. It is located in a modernist building, completely remodelled to provide all the aesthetics and services of the most popular spa destinations in the world
The circulation is set around a central wood paneled chocolate box, which offers a delicious experience as unique as chocolate tasting. It accommodates men and women saunas, shower facilities, customizable treatment schemes, gold leaf pampering and laser technology. The reception area is conceptualized as chocolate bite, revealing parametric layering and gold quilted volume hinting inner beauty that every person holds. Traffic patterns and circulation areas are designed as gallery exhibiting engravings and charcoal drawings, while a sweet color palette is enriched by textural and geometric variety
