The Concept
Opus Cannellé stands as a testament to the seamless blend of architectural rigour and high-end craftsmanship. Commissioned as one special piece of a limited edition of 50 unique pieces, this handmade marble etagere explores the poetic dialogue between structural repetition and raw, organic materiality. The design reinterprets the classical architectural element of fluting (cannelé) into a contemporary sculptural form. Every linear groove is placed and glued by hand, creating a single rippled block of Rossi Portogallo marble, with its subtle salmon body and discreet cream veins. Through craftsmanship and timeless expertise acquired working with marble over the years, the object transcends its functional purpose, becoming a monolithic statement of tactile luxury

The choice of Rosso Portogallo marble provides a dramatic canvas of warm salmon, blush pink, and cream veins.
