Autumn 2015 Hotel Room Interior draws inspiration from an aged red wine whose naturally robust earthy red adds refined elegance making a strong grounded statement. Following the aging route in the antique oak barrels gradually loses the energetic vibrancy of red youth and matures acquiring an earthy red brown tone.
Color follows the same attributes and qualities with a reserva red wine. A full body red wine acts as a perfect unifying element, between old and new but needs its time to rest before giving off its aroma and memories. Similarly the interior design elements can craft a successful combination of a contemporary setting with a careful selection of memorabilia and scents of antiquity.
The Color that supports this choice is Pantone Color of the Year 2015, MARSALA 18-1438 for Architecture & Interiors. It can be applied in the Hotel Suite to accent pieces, accessories and textured surfaces like a rich leather sofa, draperies and headboard fabrics.
