Luminous Tectonics: Concept & Optimisation at F-ZEEN Floreasca
Architectural identity is defined by day, but celebrated by night
At the F-ZEEN Residential development, our concept development focused on creating an uninterrupted dialogue between urban structure and the natural lakeside environment. Through expert value engineering, we streamlined the transition from concept to reality, sourcing advanced, sustainable materials that elevated both longevity and spatial value. The crown jewel of this optimisation is the custom facade architectural lighting design. Every fixture and beam angle was calibrated to emphasise the volumetric rhythm of the architecture after dark, casting a sophisticated silhouette across Calea Floreasca while ensuring maximum energy efficiency and visual comfort
MATERIALITY ILLUMINATED
Custom linear LED lighting is strategically positioned to emphasise the crisp, geometric lines of the WHITE Aluminium Composite Panels, while dedicated garden LED washers cast a soft, indirect glow onto the Ceramic Facade clad with premium Mirage Tiles. To complete the rhythmic depth of the structure, ASAI flexi ribbons are integrated directly into the balcony floors, discreetly illuminating the warm TRESPA wood balconies that boldly protrude from the main ceramic envelope. This advanced facade architectural lighting scheme calibrates every fixture and beam angle to transform the volumetric architecture into a sophisticated nighttime landmark across Calea Floreasca
Our signature approach continues upon entering the building's iconic main lobbies and staircases. Here, we introduced a high-end hospitality design ethos, emphasising dramatic angular symmetries that elevate everyday transitions into a premium experience. The space is anchored by the sophisticated texture of CLEAF surfaces, seamlessly integrated with our unique architectural lighting design to sculpt the interior volumes
